		<description><![CDATA[Oh man, that&#039;s rough.  Simone has such soulful eyes--no wonder, with a beautiful mind and heart like that.  Wow.  I would like cried like a maniac.  

I bothers me how dads aren&#039;t in the picture in a lot of kids books.  I like The Interrupting Chicken by Stein because it&#039;s a dad putting his daughter to bed (also, it&#039;s just cute).]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I used to ask my mom about my daddy all the time. He died when I was just over a year and a half old and I&#039;m sure it broke her heart to answer those questions. When mom died, Norah asked all kinds of hard questions about death and such too... it doesn&#039;t help that I&#039;m sick with a life-threatening disease, and it makes me SO sad to think of her growing up without me or Dave around :-(]]></description>
